Cameron Harris has music running through his veins. You will always catch him dancing behind the DJ booth, and it’s infectious. Cameron has always had a passion for music – he loves working with couples to create a perfect evening, “The most rewarding part of being a DJ has to be the moments that are created and shared for a lifetime. I never thought I would be one who changes the world in a meaningful way but as a bride and groom thank me on the way to the send off, I realize I can make an impact a few lives at a time.”
Cameron’s favorite part of being a DJ is getting the dance floor packed! “Other than enjoying the vast amounts of danceable music, my favorite part of being a DJ is the energy of a packed dance floor. When your mind can no longer resist the beat of a song and your body is overtaken by the rhythm is what I enjoy the most. My philosophy is that EVERYONE will dance when they hear the right song, so I strive to achieve getting everybody to the dance floor.” Cameron will bring high energy to your wedding along with attention to detail in which he takes great pride.
Favorite sports team?
The Denver Broncos have always been my favorite team. Growing up I was able to enjoy seeing John Elway win championships as well as analyze how he operates the team as GM. I have no real ties to the team or city other the joys of watching them for decades.
What’s your dream vacation?
I don’t have a single destination I would like to go but I would like to travel abroad to European countries. My version of sight seeing would be to indulge on the different foods of the various cultures as well as experience the music cultures spread through the regions as they represent the foundation of most of current music.
When not performing, what do you listen to for pleasure (what’s your jam)?
I am all about the latest dance songs from Hip-hop, Pop, and EDM. On occasion you may catch me in my car jamming to some pop/punk rock, funk, and some classic R&B.
Before today, what’s your favorite moment ever as a DJ?
My favorite moment as a DJ was the wedding I DJed for a childhood friend of mine. He had seen the work and effort I put into my craft and hired me even though it would be only my second wedding to DJ. He had a large guest list of 400 people and they all loved to dance. After a night with each person dancing and singing their hearts out, I played the private last dance for the bride and groom. Even though I had been through this process over a hundred times, my role as a Wedding MC/DJ internalized at that very moment seeing my good friend’s emotional slow dance to Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley.
