After graduating from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, Michael Vieira began a career in education and athletics. To those who knew Michael, this was no surprise. After all, he had always been somewhat of a star on the basketball court. But, not many, including Michael himself, would have predicted his next move. He decided to take his passion for entertainment, service, and success to a new arena. Michael began helping his brother-in-law DJ weddings, and quickly realized this was the direction he wanted to take his life. Although this transition was unexpected, dj’ing afforded Mike the opportunity to be sociable and creative in a completely new way. Before long, he became one of the most successful and requested DJ’s in the New England area.
While working in Boston, Michael met his wife, Jessica. Her family lived in Texas, and she was eager to get back home, so Michael and Jessica eventually moved to Dallas. They were married in Kauai in 2008, and they now have two beautiful children!
After living his life as a Northerner, and ten amazing years being a DJ and Master of Ceremonies in Boston, Michael is thrilled to now be a Texan. His attention to detail, ability to read a crowd, and fun-loving, charismatic personality are the reason for his rave reviews and referrals. Michael will always go above and beyond to ensure a memorable day for his bride and grooms’, their friends, and family.
What’s your best attribute?
I am extremely hardworking and dedicated. Once I commit, will see it through and it give it my all.
Before today, what’s your favorite moment as a DJ?
I love to dance, and I love being involved, but at a wedding about a year ago, I was being dragged out on the dance floor by the mother of the bride! She literally said, I will only dance if Michael dances with me!” I think she was from Boston LOL
What’s your favorite part of being a DJ?
I love the smiling faces! Very few professionals are lucky enough to spend their time with people celebrating the best times of their lives! Everyone is happy to be there, and I am honored to be involved in ensuring a great time is had by all!
